Our Mission

The mission of the NCF is to provide a centralized facility offering affordable access to researchers from academia, industry, and government laboratories throughout Colorado for synthesizing and testing novel nano-structured materials and systems.

The objective of the Nanomaterials Characterization Facility (NCF) is to support the CU-Boulder's Initiative on Nanotechnology for Engineering and Life Sciences for synthesizing and testing novel nanostructure materials and systems from academia, government laboratories, and private industry.

The NCF is a University wide resource for instrumentation and micro/nano scale measurements. For each instrument in the NCF, we offer basic user training, NCF staff assisted use of the instruments, and NCF staff contracted analysis of your samples.
